Did you ever? November 7, 2007

Did you ever have a great idea for a blog post when you are somewhere it is not convenient to write the idea down (like driving) and then when you sit down to blog you can’t think of a thing to write about?  This happens to me all the time.

In fact, the other morning while I was still half asleep, an idea came to me that I had forgotten from weeks ago.  Good deal!  Something to write about.  Can’t believe I forgot that.  But now I can’t remember it to save my life.  It was a great topic though.  Sigh…

Maybe someday I’ll remember what it was long enough to actually blog about it next time.

lol….how well I know this sentiment…well, I only know it when I can remember it.

I hate waking in the middle of the night with a great plot, character, moral tussle, etc. If I write it down, I wake up…if I don’t write it down I wake up because I am so worried I’ll forget it by morning!

Why do we need sleep anyway! Supposedly it enhances our ability to remember things. I’m damned if I do and damned if I don’t! Why can’t we just have a memory stick in our ear when we sleep!!!!!! Perhaps pyjamas with a zip drive is a possibility too?

get a little tape recorder, it’ll be great, you’ll get home with a billion ideas, and then spend the rest of the evening in front of the PC. (then possibly realise it wasnt such a good idea after all)

Megan- So it’s not just me. Good Lord, the money I could make if I wrote down and published all my dreams! Really like the memory stick in our ear idea! Maybe in 50 years?

RedLeeroy- I have a little tape recorder. Never could get into the habit of using the darn thing. In any case, I wouldn’t be able to hear myself over my two boys. They would just think I was on the phone and start fighting for my attention-LOUDLY!
